Tomorrow will be an historic day. Sweden will once again face its old antagonist China in the Men´s Team Semifinal at 11.00 local Swedish time. In the semifinal, China beat Austria with 3-0 and it was a quite enjoyable journey towards the final for the Chinese aces. It was only the reigning World Champion, Ma Long, who was under a bit of a pressure when he met Robert Gardos in the first match. After Ma Long’s victory, there was smooth sailing for the eastern giant. Sweden faced England in ttheir quarter-final and turned out to be just as tight and close as expected. The results however misleads us – 3-0 might look like a walk in the park. Nothing could be more wrong. Sweden had to bring out the best of the Karlsson’s who also got great support by Jon Persson who also were the one to seal the Swedish victory after beating Samuel Walker.
