For the Swedish Men, as seeded number nine, the question was China or Germany. The answer – Germany. The rest of the teams in group A are as follows; Hong Kong, Egypt, Romania and Slovenia. For example, Sweden will have an extremely challenging Monday the 30th of April. Morning match against Hong Kong, and then, in the evening there will be a European battle against the top seeded Germany.
– A good draw for Sweden. There are no easy matches of course and now we are focusing on getting as well prepared as possible. We got an intense period up until the Worlds so hopefully we will be in the best possible shape when the championships starts on the 29th of April, says Ulf ”Tickan” Carlsson, captain for the Swedish Men’s team.
