Solja’s big international breakthrough was in 2015, when she beat several top players to reach the German Open final, and won the bronze medal at the Women’s World Cup. In addition, she entered the final at the Europe Top 16. She was born into a table tennis family. Her mother and father both played table tennis intensively and her two sisters both made it to the German national team.
