Fly to Halmstad
There are several international airports in southern Scandinavia. Halmstad City Airport is located is located only ten minutes by car from the city center.
Travel by train
It is easy to travel to Halmstad. Halmstad is situated between Falkenberg and Helsingborg. Trains from the Copenhagen area, Gothenburg and the region of Småland arrive and depart every hour. Check the train schedule and book tickets at SJ, Skånetrafiken or Hallandstrafiken.
Travel by bus
If you prefer the bus, book your trip at Swebus. The regional bus terminal is located next to the train station.
Travel by car
If you travel by car, Halmstad is easy to reach. The E6 highway stretches along the coast from Svinesund in Norway to Trelleborg in the very south of Sweden. The highway goes through cities like Gothenburg, Varberg, Falkenberg, Halmstad, Helsingborg and Malmö.
Travel in Halmstad
It is easy to travel when you are in Halmstad. The easiest way to get around is with bike. The distance from Halmstad city center to Halmstad Arena is two kilometers.

The Halmstad Arena is located approximately 3 kilometres from the centre of Halmstad and hotels are mainly situated in the centre. Walking distance will be no less than 30 minutes, but Halmstad’s ideal size makes it comfortable to get around. Public transportation by bus is a convenient option and the bus stops Halmstad Arena and Halmstad Arena Södra is just a short walk from the Arena.
